HOBBIES: Music, Recording, Motorcycles, Watersports, Electronics, Beer, Wine, Bourbon! Tequila!
MUSICAL INFLUENCES: Jimmi, SRV, Warren Haynes, Alex Lifeson, Pat Travers, Ted Nugent, Carlos Santana, Deep Purple, BOC, David Gilmour, Cry of Love, Brother Cane, Joanna Connor... the list keeps growing
INSTRUMENTS: Guitar, Bass, Organ, Piano Started playing guitar as a teenager, inspired by Ted Nugent, Rush, Iron Maiden and AC/DC

I turned on to the Blues many years ago. Played in bands as guitar player/bass player and a tiny bit of keyboards. Previous band was Tequila Mockingbird. But we could never get the tour bus out of the garage, if you know what I mean. I enjoy live music, both from on stage and from the audience. I hate top 40 formula music! My current idol is Warren Haynes from Gov't Mule(He is a god!). Backing up Robin gives me a chance to cover a wide variety of "electric" music and sharpen my vocal skills as well.

EQUIPMENT: My main guitar is an old Aspen Strat copy, with nothing original left on it! This is a total project guitar. It began life as a good copy of the 70's series Fender Strat. The original owner was my first guitar teacher. He traded it in on a Les Paul copy(Logical progression I guess), and I bought it from the store he traded it to. I was 16 then(if this guitar could talk... oy!), and the body is pretty much the only original piece left. It is the one I play 90% of the time.

I CONDONE STRAT ABUSE!!! -and I beat the shit out of this one on a regular basis.  Come see a show!

More equipment below...

EQUIPMENT (continued):

Guitar #2 is a beautifull emerald green Carvin SC90. It has great tone!

Guitar #4 is an Aria SG copy.  Chromebuckers. Sounds great! It likes sliding in open G ;-)...

Guitar #5 is a Zion strat style guitar. This guitar was previously owned and customized by Alan Payette from Wolfgang. It is, as he says, a rocker!

In addition I own the following guitars, most of which the guys in Boot The Owl have never even seen:

-Washburn D10CE acoustic/electric

-Carvin V220 circa 1984. Don't look for this one on their web site. They don't make them anymore. Mine needs a fret job so bad! it's got at least 500,000 Miles on it.  But the older Carvin M22 pickups can be quite pleasing at times. I still gig with it occasionally.

-Dean ???, Double cutaway-not really sure what model. I used to tune it down 2 whole steps when I was in a band called "Decibel Deciple". Does anyone remember the band Rob Halford was in called Fight? jung, jung, jung, jung, jung, WAAAAAAH!!! At the time a seven stringer would have worked better I think. Live and learn...

-Carvin Bolt-T A kit guitar called The Bolt. It is a Strat style 6 srting made by Carvin and sold unfinished. I had it painted by the same guy who did the tanks on my bike. Cick here for a picture of that. :)

-Ibanez 4 string Bass (hmmmm. not realy sure what model that is either) :)

I am dreaming of getting a David T. McNaught. Saving my pennies!

More pictures after I get a digital camera....

I Love this picture of Robin, YUM, YUM!!! It's a dogs life...RRROOOF...

PEACE!
